Dualsense connects and disconnects from bluetooth pc and not working

We totally understand that you want to fix your Dual sense controller to your PC via Bluetooth. Just a reminder, we are not able to double check your controller and for possible issue since we do not have hold to products from Sony. No worries, we do have some troubleshooting steps here that we may try.

Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try:



1. Make sure that your PC's Bluetooth is turned on and is in discoverable mode.

2. Unpair the controller from your PC and then try pairing it again.

3. Try resetting the controller by pressing the reset button on the back of the controller with a paperclip or similar object.

4. Make sure that your PC's Bluetooth drivers are up to date.

5. Try disabling any other Bluetooth devices that may be connected to your PC and then try connecting the controller again.

6. If none of the above steps work, try contacting Sony's customer support for further assistance.

I'm sorry, I guess I should have specified that they never worked with bluetooth, but I did write this in a reply and in the original post.

The Dualsense controllers work perfectly fine when wired and it's the bluetooth connection I have issues with, I don't see how your suggestion could help me.

However, I am aware that DualSense controllers only work via USB on Windows PCs, PlayStation don't officially support Bluetooth connection for Windows.

As you've likely guessed, it's a bit of a hard issue to diagnose. If the Xbox controller doesn't disconnect from the PC via Bluetooth then it's probably safe to assume that the controller is fine and the issue might be with your tablet. Hard to tell.

Do you play this game on the tablet in the same location as you would on the PC? Bluetooth connections can receive interference from other wireless devices in your home and this can cause disconnection issues.

Owning an Xbox would make no difference for the purpose of testing as controllers don't connect via BT on the console, they use Wi-Fi Direct. Which means that the one method could work fine, but the other (BT) could still have issues if there were a fault.
