Dualsense completely disappears off bluetooth after a few seconds

Hi, recently got a pair of dualsense controllers. (don't have a ps5)

When trying to connect them for use on my pc they had several issues that I have now fixed except this one.

Every time I try to connect my dualsense controller over bluetooth this happens: (I have 2 pro-controllers working with no issues)

- After holding down the playstation button, my pc asks to pair to "unknown device"

- After pressing yes, after a few seconds, it appears under the mouse, keyboard and pen section as "wireless controller"

- about 10 seconds after, the controller is gone from the list.

I have tried several suggestions, the normal bluetooth troubleshooting and every suggestion from these 2 posts who looked similar to my issue:

(SOLVED) Bluetooth connects, then disconnects after few seconds

I no longer have any issues when I am connecting with a usb cable, but with bluetooth it never looks to ever properly connect

You still need the Bluetooth drivers

Controllers will desync if you don't load the drivers

That is normal behaviour for controllers if they don't sync and run thr drivers you are going to desync

Even on comsoles

Hats why you need the steam or ds4win

I'm sorry, I guess I should have specified that they never worked with bluetooth, but I did write this in a reply and in the original post.

The Dualsense controllers work perfectly fine when wired and it's the bluetooth connection I have issues with, I don't see how your suggestion could help me.

The controllers never worked via Bluetooth or they worked for some time and stopped right after?

I can kinda see where you are coming from, but my issue is not that I can't get my games to work when using wireless. It's that the does not stay connected to my pc.

It's true that I might have to go through the steps you mention when I do get the bluetooth connection, but for now I don't see me even having the chance to do so.

That's because they are treated as game controllers with wired generic but you would.still have to remap the buttons and you wouldn't have the full haptic feedback

With Bluetooth you need the wrapper drivers this is in the sony vkb which includes.the haptic and full.functions if you use steam and full dual shock function with ds4win

Blame sony for that one and not supporting non ps platforms

For the record I own 3 dual sense and 1 dual shock 2 controller

Of which I have to have .steam .running to have full function

Sony doesn't support direct input and have their own private libraries
