    display with two screen views

Here's an article that explains it: Sony's 24-inch PlayStation 3D display first hands-on! -- Engadget
This is the new 3D display. The dual screens isn't a split screen. It's actually two full screens. What I didn't notice before is that you can only use the feature on certain PS3 games that allow it.

    Dual display connection

I just bought a second TV for my bedroom and would like to split the output from my 360S in my living room to this TV. The rooms are adjacent, so it's within about 10-15 feet, so distance isn't too much of an issue Currently running the signal from my
360 to main TV via HDMI. I understand that one option is to use an HDMi switch to direct the signal to whichever TV I want to use. Totally an option, but I'd like to avoid the cost of a switch and new cable. I already have some pretty long component cables
so I'm wondering if it's possible to have a setup with both HDMI and component? Will the Xbox send the signal through both, or will it only go through the HDMI? Assuming it does both, I would need to to get the component output cable for the 360S correct?
Does that cable block the the HDMI port (similar to the composite cable)? If I went this route, would I be better off just investing in the splitter and HDMI cable? Thanks for your advice!

The Xbox One (and its games) are designed for use on one display with a 16:9 resolution (720p, 1080p, 4K).

Do you mean you are considering creating a "video wall" setup, such as with 4x separate displays arranged together, acting as one?

    There is a
    specialized device
to help accomplish that. However, keep in mind that such hardware will cost you over 2,000 earth dollars.

I believe there is an easier way to accomplish this, but I'm not 100% certain.

First, the Xbox One was not meant for multiple screens. HOWEVER a PC is.

So, theoretically, you could connect your xbox to your PC, then connect your PC to your TVs monitors.

I would recommend the El Gato HD60S ($160) for low latency connection to your PC (instead of wireless Windows 10 xbox app)

Then for connecting your PC to your TVs/Screens may require adapters depending on your PC.

Then you would detect and configure (set to extend) your displays through screen resolution in the PC control panel,

and run your xbox through your PC via El Gato passthrough.

In short, your desired setup, though impractical, is not impossible.

Please note: I have not tried this because I don't have multiple screens, but doing this SHOULD work.

[/quote]You've asked quite a few questions there, but I'll summarize by just answering the last one. Yes, you would be better off just buying a HDMI switch and cable. Otherwise you'll need to purchase the component cable output, modify it (to fit), and
use female-to-female adapters. I'd venture a guess that the time and money saved alone would make the HDMI switch route much more appealing.

    Dual monitors?

Sorry, to elaborate on my previous response - I've read there are ways to set up dual monitors on an Xbox 360 that would display the same content. However, because of the hardware in the Xbox, dual displays with different views is not possible.

Xbox Scarlett 21:9 / Ultrawide monitor support

Yeah for sure, can you imagine doing local coop/multiplayer on ultrawide. Speaking of displays, since the Xbox One came with two HDMI ports, wouldn't it make more sense for dual output (or at least make one of the ports in/out) to support dual displays?
It's just like Snap, but on separate displays.
