My cable modem is dual band( 2.4 and 5.0). My older 360 recognizes both while my newer 360s will only recognizes the 2.4. How canI get it to recognize the 5.0 band.

    Thanks,

  2. Turtle Beach XP500 Headset. Interference from WIFI. Ideas?

Why not look at a dual band router, then switch off the 2.4 & just run on 5 ghz. But be aware that other houses might have 2.4 Ghz routers @ cordless phone that all so run @ 2.4

System restarts when trying to connect to live

Are you using a dual band router that supports 2.4 & 5 Ghz modes. If so is the Xbox restarting no matter which frequency you attempt to use?

  4. dual band (2.4 and 5).

    Hey there NEOGASM!

The new Xbox 360 console will only support 2.4GHz. If you would like to use 5.0GHz then you would need to use the Wireless N Networking Adapter.
