    DTS X Insider Beta, receiver not supported with LG C9 and SN11RG


    I have an LG C9 and LG SN11RG soundbar, the C9 is able to pass through DTS X and Atmos but for whatever reason the Series X says that my receiver is not supported. Atmos does work albeit with an audio delay.

    I’ve joined the insider program where you apparently download a beta version of the DTS app but the option never comes up.

    I’ve restarted the console several times, opted out and back into the beta, deleted the DTS app numerous times but it just never gives me the option to join the DTS beta.

    Am I missing something?

    Xbox Series X November Update broken sound.

    Series X. Straight into a 2020 LG CX. Then onto a AVR via arc.

    Sorry, no DTS but bitstream DD5.1 works.

    DTS only works if I bypass the TV and go straight into the AVR, LG'S won't pass through DTS.

    I wanted to reply since I just came across this issue with my series x and I figured out the issue and it worked for me. I have a LG c9 and I’m using an av receiver and what I did was I went to all settings on my tv> sound> additional settings and then I changed HDMI input audio format to bitstream. I don’t know why it was changed to pcm but it may have been part of an update but since then everything is green now with audio. Hope this helps you guys

    Obviously not a monitor, but the LG C9 is hands down the best display for the One X. It’s literally the only one that fully supports all of the One X’s full HDMI 2.1 specs, plus it’s GSync compatible and just generally an amazing display.

    LG 65 inch OLED C9.

    Soundbar Samsung HW 950. Both support Dolby Atmos.

    Currently, the console is plugged into the TV via HDMI. Then the soundbar receives the sound via eARC.

    Apple TV is configured the same way. Dolby Atmos works fine.

    TV configured at 60 HZ, 30 bits per pixel.

    I am not part of the Insiders Program, would it be worth enrolling?
