    DTS:X for home theater connection error


    I am trying to enable the new dts:x setting but it's giving me an error stating that my receiver doesn't support it. My processing unit supports dts:x. It's a Marantz av8802a.

    Anyone else experiencing similar issues with this or other dts:x compatible machines?

    Same problem I am having I had to switch over to DTS for home theater or DTS surround sound to get IMAX sound format to enjoy my 4 height, channels, Microsoft Igotta fix this issue.

    How old are your systems that only support Dd5.1 i would have thought it would be standard on home theaters to have Dts as well as Dd5.1 i got a home theater when Playstation 2 came out that supported both and bought another on boxing day and it supports

    How do I turn on DTS:X for Home Theater?

    "On your Xbox, navigate to [Settings > General > Volume & audio output] and select [Bitstream out] as your [HDMI audio] preference. Then, under [Bitstream format], select [DTS:X for Home Theater]. If selecting DTS:X for Home Theater for the first time, you will be prompted to download and install the free DTS Sound Unbound application. Once installed, DTS:X for Home Theater is ready to go! Don’t forget to verify that your sound bar or home theater receiver also supports DTS:X. Contact your sound bar or home theater receiver manufacturer for details."

    5.1 Surround Sound Doesn't Work Properly on Xbox One

    For the low sound quality turn Dynamic Range Control off in Blu-ray settings, and i have my Sound settings setup as Hdmi = stereo uncompressed and Optical on Dts surround sound. Hdmi is plugged to led straight from the One and Optical straight from the One
    to the Amp which is set to Tv mode to hear the Digital sound and on the display it says Dts it only supports Dts on the One so does your Home Theater support Dts ?
