DSL question

    DSL question


    I have recently moved to a rural area that only offers DSL internet. I now play 360 Xbox games and have some lag issues, but not really that much different than before I moved and was playing on a fast interenet cable, my Neflix through 360 on DSL works
    fine...my question is will I have issues if I switch to XBOX ONE with a DSL as my online connection? Does XBOX ONE have certain connection requirements ?

    hi!

    my dsl as a very poor speed so my question is : can i purchase and download games from a friend's computer (best dsl connection), move file to a usb key and then lauch setup on my xbox one ?

    No. You only need to have other Ports open if you want to have an open Nat. Thatś all DSL question :)

    can connect to the internet and modem/router but cant connect to xbox live

    If you have DSL, then most likely the MTU on the router is at 1500 and that is incorrect for DSL. Change your MTU to 1492 or ask your ISP what the MTU setting should be, most DSL is set at 1492
