DSL and NAT Type

Discus and support DSL and NAT Type in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hello, If I have DSL will I ever be able to have my NAT Type=Open?     Hello,

    If I have DSL will I ever be able to have my NAT Type=Open?

    I have tried all the suggestions to change it, but at some point it changes back to NAT Type=Moderate.

    Some people have told me that the Xbox Live network automatically restricts DSL users to NAT Type=Moderate.

    Just wondering.

    My NAT type is not working, I just got a new modem from Comcast, and now the NAT type is unavailable. Any suggestions?

    Nope, that's not true.

    Of course you are able to get an open NAT with DSL.

    If you provide us with some more details on your network environment we may be able to help you with this. Especially the information which router / modem you use is important.

    For now you may want to try to set your Xbox One whether into DMZ or as exposed host in your router and check your connection again.

    i had trouble with my nat when i was on high speed dsl. i called my internet company and told them to bridge my router and that fixed it. i would recommend switching routers as well theres some kind of firewall up and thats whats causing ur nat type to be
    type 2. try using a linksys e2500. it may help.
