    hard reset and try again, same result, drops connection.

    internet connection drops frequently

    hi there,

    lately i'm having problems with my xbox live 'coz it cannot get online more than 3 minutes. i've tried to fix it following so many tips but nothing has been working. what should i do?

    Xbox drops internet connection, then controller drops connection

    Okay, so I have quite a strange problem occurring, and I'm positive both issues correlate with each other. I will be mid-game, drop connection and then my controller will disconnect - or visa versa. Have tried a power cycle, as well as updating my controller
    firmware. Both my xbox, as well as my controller are using wireless connections

    This sounds like a possible router issue. I would check to make sure router has the latest firmware and is functioning properly. I had a router go bad and it would go into a reboot or drop internet connections.

    My router is newer, it's an Asus AC66u and it has an option to set for "Optimized for Xbox." Look into that...

    Our internet was just upgraded to a 4g internet connection and we recieved a new router and modem from xplornet. it was only after this happened that our xbox's started to get the error code.
