Drop in Gamerscore of About Five Thousand

Hi! I noticed when I got on my Xbox One console my gamerscore had dropped from around 102,000 to 97,960. Some games were recorded at zero gamerscore under my achievements page but if I checked the individual games progress it had the correct recorded value.
Support was very helpful with walking me through the steps to hard reset my console and sync my account back to the console but recommended I still make a post here in case that doesn't work in the next 24 hours. Just wondering if this is a problem on Xbox
end that will resolve itself or steps will have to be taken to fix it on my end. Thank you!

Doesn't xbox live usually do something for your b-day?

Hundreds upon thousands of hours of gaming in five years would be a neat trick, since there's only 43,800 hours in five years.

Lost Gamerscore

If the gamescore is missing from games on the Xbox One or Series S/X it's a random glitch that happens occasionally and usually will fix itself on its own after a few days.

If it's from 360 games, it could be a gamerscore reset.

The first one is the 24th. Five more drops in the week after?

My best thought is maybe somebody while you were at college deleted you information from your storage. For your problem I would contact Xbox Tech and explain it to them. Thirty five thousand plus GamerScore sure is something. I hope I helped and any further
