DRM family access

I have setup 1 parent account and 2 kids on children accounts. My problem is that I unlocked their minecraft game on my account. Which means I always have to be signed in on the console in order for them to play. If I'm not around...they can simply switch
to my account and have full access?! So how do I allow them to play their minecraft? Should my game content be passed to all members of my family?

Family share is not DRM. DRM is not a feature. Nor are they dependent on each other.

They should bring it back. I do not really comprehend why the removal of DRM would cause the removal of family sharing. I am sure they can find a way to make family sharing work without the excessive DRM...

If you're using the One make sure you have the console set as your Home console. That will allow them to access any games and gold subscription on your account without you needing to be signed in.

That 10 family members thing got cancelled as that was part of the drm system, when everybody moaned about the drm they removed drm and all the benefits that came with it like not having ties the disc, sharing with upto 10 family members, and buying a
disc gave you the cloud version to p,ah anywhere.

Ms can still do family share with digitally purchased games. It was wrong what the original DRM attempted to do. DRM is not features...they can still have the features you guys are referring to. DRM is restricting usage...not giving options...in the future
you should refer to it as features and not DRM...DRM is digital rights management...it's not a feature set. It's piracy deterrents.

BTW these features were not even introduced before the change in offline policy so they may not have even have the system worked out. I'm certain family share will be a perk for gold members who buy digital.

for the love of all that's good in the universe though....please stop referring to the family share feature as DRM...it's like nails on a chalk board.

The family plan never had an affect on download licenses. When you purchase content it is tied to the gamertag that purchased it as well as the console it was purchased on. That console license is what allows other profiles to access the same content. The
original account that purchased the content can redownload and use the content on any console they want, but the other profiles will only be able to access the content on the console that it was downloaded on. If you've switched consoles, you would need to
do a license transfer so that the profiles can access that content again.
