Drivers Xbox one wireless adapter win7 x64

dpoet can you look in device manager and tell me what driver it's using? I can't seem to get it working on Win7 x64 because of a missing driver.

I solved my bluescreen problem on Windows 8.1 x64. I'm wondering if my system was confused between 32bit and 64bit drivers or just bad automatically download drivers in general.

I started over. I uninstalled the Xbox Wireless Adapter driver and pulled the adapter out, restarted. Went to the MediaTek website downloaded and installed their mt7612u driver. Restarted.

I downloaded the drivers that cy43rguru linked to. The 64bit driver obviously. I plugged in the Wireless Adapter and selected update driver in device manager. I chose the AMD64 drivers. It now works very very well.

UPDATE: I tried all of the Windows 10 x64 Wireless Adapter drivers on this page:

catalog.update.microsoft.com/.../Search.aspx. None of them solved the problem.

I used it on win7 64 bit you 1st have to download the latest software at
www.microsoft.com/.../downloads then

go to device drivers

update driver

than click browse computer

click let me pick

click Human Interface Devices

and you will find the wireless adapter driver and wireless controller there

Bought the adapter just today... First didn't got recognized (only XBOX ACC was shown under device manager). after manually download the driver from the ms site (http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=xbox%20adapter - thx to http://mattpilz.com/fix-for-xbox-one-wireless-adapter-not-working-in-windows-10-xbox-acc-driver/),
it was available under Network adapters (Xbox Wireless Adapter). After a system reboot, the device got the same message as BlackchiefPrime already said. (operation failed, the requested operation was unsuccessful). No light or any sound when plug in the adapter
resp. press the sync button...
