Drive eject during play

the drive ejects the game disc during game play sometimes only not often sometime a lot the last time I was playing Forza it ejected the disc 6 times during one race. Its not the disc It does the same thing on Ghost

Hey there, Drunk! I'm sorry to see that your console doesn't seem to want to keep discs in! This is a weird issue, and I hope we can get it resolved for you.

Since we don't have any support pages on the discs not staying in, we can try the
Troubleshoot an Xbox One disc error page. A lot of the troubleshooting is what I would have you do anyway. If none of it works for you, I would suggest setting up a repair at our
Online Service Center so we can fix up that disc drive for you.

Hi,

If nobody push the eject button, sounds like a hardware default with the button or the disc drive...

Please clean very carefully the eject button, if still opening during use, you will have to repair the console.

Thanks ConcreteSnake, that is good to know. I haven't had any trouble ejecting or loading the disc. My trouble has been with the system stalling during the update process and during installing the disc to the hard drive. Thanks again.

Ejecting the disc while playing can corrupt your save data, maybe even your hard drive.

I don't mean the sound of the disc spinning under normal circumstances, which is what you're describing. For example, occasionally when I shut down my console, the disc starts to spin extremely fast - way faster than it ever would when playing/installing
a game - and the only way to stop it is to turn the console back on and then off again, or to press eject. The same thing happens occasionally when exiting the avatar editor. The disc drive spins at a crazy speed and the only way to stop it is to eject the
disc, then close the tray again. The drive only spins at up to 12X during normal use, but this literally sounds like it's spinning at 50X or something and considering when it happens, it's definitely a bug of some kind.
