Drastically lowed down and games not opening

I have had my Xbox series x for about 2 months now and it has started giving me problems. Whenever I am downloading or updating something it won’t let me do anything else on the console. Also It won’t let me open apps or games causing me to have to restart the console to be able to open them. Just overall the console has slowed down drastically since when I first got it. I have tried resetting the console but it didn’t make a difference.

Try to restore keeping games and apps, please be sure that you know your account email and password:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console screen, you'll see three option use this one, be sure you remember the email and password of you're accounts:

Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with Reset and keep my games & apps

@Grey Yes it is. This is a device M$ wants developers to utilize. Relying on consumers to buy it drastically cuts down the userbase and drastically cuts down developers motivation to utilize it when making games.

They need to cut down on the amount of ammo/money boxes there are to open,they are literally everywhere,it becomes a grind opening them rather than enjoying what you are getting from them.

I also think the amount of weapons in the game needs cutting down drastically,there`s just to many.

Most of which are completely useless at the point you get them in the game.

I am currently level 23 with lots of purple and blue weapons,yet the boxes i open give me white and green weapons all the time,makes no sense.

Ive got the same issue however after about five or ten minutes the console does eventually shut off.

Turning off the "low power" mode is a bit drastic for quite a minor problem, I mean you'll be losing the ability for games and the system itself to auto-update while the console is switched off, and also the "instant on" factor of the console being in low power mode.
