Dragon's Dogma Online

Why do you keep doing this MS?! The alpha for this game is only on PS console. You wonder why you have no foothold in Japan, this is why, games like this are huge over there.

Anybody with on wanting this to be on XB1 as well?

I want the Xbox One version of Dragon's Dogma and The Elder Scrolls Online, Hazahhh!!!

 

The Witcher 2 or Dragon's Dogma

I'd wait for reviews on Dragon's Dogma and then make your decision. Witcher 2's got the pedigree behind it but who knows about Dragon's Dogma? Hell TW2 on 360 could turn out to be a technical mess and Dragon's Dogma a bit duff.

 

It would be nice to see it on XB1 but to be honest, even if it was I couldn't see it making much different to the console in Japan.

 

I would prefer a Dragon Dogma 2.

So,having (or not) Dragon Dogma online on Xbox one,i don't care....

 

DD (I played Dead Arisen) was a broken game any ways. It started off great but then it would send you off on a far-off mission, fighting tonnes of respawning monsters who take 15 minutes each to defeat only to arrive at your destination to find out that
the mission cannot proceed because some unmentioned prerequisites were not met. Meanwhile you lose everyone in your party and look at the map for a way back to the safe city and realize that the map is not at all helpful. So you're going to die alone with
no hope of salvage. I loved the fighting and RPG elements of the game, but who has time for a game that deliberately wastes your time and punishes you for trying?

 

The game doesn't hold your hand,this is one of many things that i like in Dragon Dogma (old school RPG style).

 

"Dragon's Dogma" is a great game but pretending some of it's glaring flaws are a nod to "Old School RPG" is just ignorant.

Learn from the mistakes and make a better game.

 

I prefer to be ignorant rather than spending my time to follow an arrow and use fast travel.

 

I also liked the fact it didn't really hold your hand, nightfall when you were out in the wilds was always a bit worrying. You could travel using the stone things but it was limited which was cool. One thing I hated was the constant enemy re spawn
in the same areas, made travelling a bit tedious. As for the online, meh it's *** market only and they love that stuff.

 

It's a "free-to-play" game which, given our concerns over gameplay, positions it for a "pay-to-win" fee structure.

Don't lose hope over platform. I don't believe Capcom is the kind of publisher to leave any stone of revenue opportunity unturned.

 

its not being released in this market, its a Japanese release only.

 

Dragons Dogma was one of my favourite RPGs.

Took me a while to get into/get to grips with but was totally hooked after that!

Would love to see a proper DD2 on Xbox One.

 

@ Genchy - I read somewhere a few weeks back that Capcom had also registered the TM for "Dragon's Dogma Online" in NA and Europe as well. I'm hoping that this means a possible future release.
