Dragonborn was AWESOME

Chemist, the collector's has a book "Pocket Guide to the Empire" in a nice art box. It should also have had a Septim coin but my copy was used and did not. There is a bonus disk with a making of documentary.

Argonians make the most sense to be a dragonborn, breathe underwater, disease resistant, regenerate health faster than any other race, and they look awesome.

Skyrim Dragonborn DLC confirmed, out 4th December -

I really wanted one when I first got my 360 a long time ago. But I think they were upwards of 80-90 bucks new and now it sucks because any used one wont have the coin. And you're welcome lady about the info. I'll send you one here in a bit and then you can
take my pawn out for a spin. I hope she does you some good and you enjoy her.

@springer that's actually what I did when I first got it, but then I somehow deleted shivering isle from the HDD. I'll probably just buy the GOTY edition so I can get my fix lol.

 

I have all add-ons for all systems and they never get old!

 

I actually kind of liked the house mods for Oblivion.

A shame how they didn't really make and playstyle related houses in Skyrim. Like assassin themed houses, etc.

 

I do enjoy those little extra DLCs.

This discussion drove me back into Oblivion.

At nine hours into a new character now. Working the KotN questline first.

[/quote]my guess is because you get so many different styles of houses in skyrim that it would be kinda pointless to add more. granted KotN and shivering isle were two large expansions, they probably wanted to focus more on mission DLC than simple ones like
horse armor or spell tomes. sure, they have the houses, but you can also make those into just about anything you want. i cant wait to see what they do with ESO and ES:VI, not just for the game alone, but also DLC.

 

I'd prefer it if there were no DLC. It's already going to be $15/month. I'm on the fence about buying it as it is, the subscription fee makes me think it's just going to be World of Warcraft set in Tamriel.

 

From what I gather, ESO will add to the game world you join, and eventually get to the point where you can explore the entire continent. It should be funded by the fees we pay, so it wont be on the system where we pay for extra DLC content we want.

[/quote]thats what i gathered too. basically the fee doesnt pay for your play-time, it also pays for any and all DLC they will come out with. plus, im sure the patches will be able to be done quicker on any console you play on, especially with all the people
who would be able to actively report bugs and glitches on any given system its on. i just wish dark souls 2 will be on xbone or PS4, then i can easily justify the purchase of either one lol.

 

Latest video on ESO says expect monthly updates and expansions.

 

Oblivion obviously lacks the graphics that Skyrim has but the story so far is exciting. I am enjoying putting together pieces of the lore puzzle together. The levelling and skills system also seems a lot more engaging then Skyrim is.

I do enjoy Oblivion. It was the game that led me to purchasing my 360 in the first place.

The graphics are still very well done, just different. I've seen games newer that look far worse.

The leveling system is far more complex than it even first appears. If you can figure out how the whole system works, you can fine tune your leveling and milk the system to lean towards a character with tons of health, and if you pull it off right you can
get all attributes up to 100. It does take lots of attention and balance of skill while you play to perfect that though.

I've got an entire notebook filled with stats and figures on the system and all the factors. I even purposefully avoid the main quest till I'm in the 20s levels, so I can get the best enchantments out of the oblivion gates. I also have a chart of what all
ones they give, and I save right before grabbing the sigil so I can reload till I get what I want..

The lore of the game as been like pieces of a puzzle to me because I'm still new to the series. It's starting to come together for me now though.
