Dragon Mania Legends (WP) not connecting to Xbox Live

As titled - the game isn't connecting with Xbox Live at the moment. The green icon on the right side that shows your Xbox Live achievements are currently grayed out, and cannot be accessed.

I've unknowingly fulfilled the requirement the achievement "Dragon Nutritionist" (amassing a total of 150,000 food) before noticing this, and the achievement did not unlock. The green bar that usually appears at the top of the game when an achievement unlocks
also did not appear.

Can anyone advise if this is an issue with Microsoft, or is it an issue with Gameloft?

Do I need Xbox Live Gold to get achievements on Windows Phone Xbox Games?

Such as Dragon Mania Legend, The Sims Freeplay and Make it Rain?

My gold membership ran out, now all these games (and others) give me an error similar to "Can't connect to Xbox Live".

I'm having the same issue on the windows phone and windows 8 it has been like this for one day now and i have been checking it regularly to see if it has changed but still the same

 

Hey, guys! There isn't an issue on our end with the game itself, and if you are able to earn achievements in other games, as well as connect to Live in other games, then it's likely an issue with
Gameloft. I would suggest reaching out to them to ensure that they are aware of the situation.

However, if other games are not connecting to Live as well, please post back and we will take the appropriate action to look into the situation. Thanks for understanding!

 

I turned off my phone, let it sit for 10 seconds and turned it back on and it worked.

I have similar problems - always get a message Can not connect to Xbox at this time - this is every time I start the program - also my gamer tag is not correct in the Clan listing - shows DragonMasterxxxxxx!
