Dragon Bane Achievement Bugged

Dragon Bane is the achievement that will (suppose to) unlock when 10 high dragons are killed by player.....

Then this *** happens......

I don't have the save before fighting the last dragon......well....i sort of have, that one is 20 hours before the last dragon

Anything I can do to solve it? Even by running the game again, i need 20 hours at least to kill all 10 of them again

Didn't get the Gamerscore for killing the 10 higher dragons

i have problem with achievement of dragon age inquisition ,i playe 160 hour to unlock achievement ,the name of achievement is : (Dragons' Bane) , to do this achievement you have to slay 10high dragons ,and i did but its didn't unlock ,help me

 

This same thing just happened to me, apparently one of the dragons dose not count. but you do not need to kill all 10 dragons on a another play through, you only need one more and it dose not need to be on your main save file(the achievement is for 10 dragons
in single player not a single play through). what I did was load a old save file about 20 hours back, and killed one dragon and the achievement popped, then I loaded my main game. if you have a save file where you have not yet killed all the dragons, that
would be the easiest, if not you will need a new game and play till you can kill the first dragon.

Btw, this is the most inaccurate achievement description I have seen.......

 

This just happened to me today... no achievement. I will try reloading right before I killed the last dragon...

 

Reloaded and killed the last dragon and got the achievement... thanks

 

I came across this too, i'm pretty sure its either the Frostback or the Abyss High that might not count.

 

I think everyone have different bug dragon, mine is the last one in emprise de lion, the one highest level and at the north parth of the map

 

I finished the quest last night, killing all 10/10, but the achievement tracker only shows 80%. Ugh. I guess I could reload my save and kill the 7 that I took care of last night, I just hope it works.

 

Here is what happened to me this morning.

First of all, after chatting with my friend who recently finished the game and missed out on this achievement, I checked my achievement tracker last night, and saw that it failed to count one of the dragons I already killed, which I already got credit for
in the in-game journal.

At that time, I had killed 4 dragons, but the achievement tracker only said 3/10...

So upon killing my 5th dragon, I reloaded the save I made just before engaging that dragon, and killed it over and over, reloading about 5 times or so, but no luck.

This morning comes, and I killed all of the dragons in Emprise de Lion, and the one in the Hissing Wastes. And then to my surprise, this achievement popped for me, even though I still had one more dragon to kill in the Western Approach.

Now, clearly, my achievement tracker, after killing 8 dragons and right before killing the dragon in the Hissing Wastes, it was showing 7/10. And then miraculously, with one more kill, the tracker is now showing 10/10 even though I only killed 9!

Just an FYI for any folks' future reference, here is the order in which I killed the high dragons:

1. Hinterlands Dragon

2. Crestwood Dragon

3. Emerald Graves Dragon

4. Storm Coast Dragon

5. Exalted Plains Dragon

6. Emprise du Lion Dragon #1 (the lowest level of the 3 in the region: ice one)

7. Emprise du Lion Dragon #2 (the next level up of the 3 in the region: ice one)

8. Emprise du Lion Dragon #3 (the highest level high dragon: fire one)

9. Hissing Wastes Dragon

10. Achievement Popped: Still missing Western Approach Dragon

I am not sure which dragon kill failed to register initially in my achievement tracker, but it has to be one of the first 4.... as that's when I noticed the tracker being off by a count of 1.

Nevertheless, I guess I lucked out.

 

Same problem here... killed all, but the GS-overwiew says "90 percent"...

 

yeah.....I kind of just find a random dragon in previous available saves then kill it again......achievement unlocked

 

ok, so just fight one dragon one or more times again should help?

 

^^ It depends. I had to reload my save and kill 2 dragons and then it unlocked. It's definitely buggy, but going back and killing a dragon (or more) seems to sort itself out.
