Dragon Ball Kakarot Save issue

Hello, I’ve just updated my dragon ball Kakarot game to the series x version and to my surprise the game refused to start being that there is now a feature where i must upload my save from the xbox one version in order to play on the series x. There was NO warning of this being an issue and normally games just update the save so why the sudden need to do so? I didn't grind multiple hours on the xbox one version of the game to restart because of the unavailability of xbox to allow the choice of downloading a previous generation version of a game. I need to understand and get my save updated, i have no xbox one and i did not spend money nor wait for this next gen release for it to be unplayable on behalf of bandai and microsoft.

Although there is a story mode in Dragon Ball FighterZ, I think you might be referring to a different game.

I have this same issue and I grinded SOOOOO much hours into this. So WHAT THE H MARY F is going on? This needs to resolved now

Yea they need to fix this asap or I'll need a refund

I also had this issue and I will not grind again I was max level on all characters. I will definitely want a refund if it don’t get fixed this is so ridiculous.
