    Dragon age Origins

I have restarted this to get the achivement for all possible endings but have questions. I have been following this guide

    http://dragon-age.alteredgamer.com/dragon-age-origins/124570-doa-a-gaming-veterans-guide-to-dragon-age-origins/
. I just got the ashes so do I go back to redcliff and save the sick person or go to the forest. Also at what time do I need saves. Basically
after getting this achivement I want to do alistar king with the girl and have him do the thing with morrigan then have him kill the drg that way he wont die and get logan with the wardens.

    :)

  2. Importing Save game from Dragon Age Origins to Dragon Age 2?

If you imported your Warden from Dragon Age: Origins into Dragon Age: Awakening, then import your Warden from Awakening. All the data/decisions from Dragon Age: Origins, which carried over into Dragon Age: Awakening will carry over into Dragon Age II.

If you go to Redcliffe then you're locked in unless you want to lose the whole village. So I'd say go there and do the entire questline, then reviving the Arl.

    Then go to see forest.

Of course it doesn't really matter what order you do them in but Redcliffe once there does need to be done to completion. Unless you want to kill off a lot of people of course Dragon age Origins ;)

    Save often as you can.

If you have Loghain alive then you can't have Alistair in the party. Sparing Loghain means Alistair leaves. He can still become king but wont be an active party member any longer.

So definitely save just before the Landsmeet chamber. This may you don't have far to go back to spare and kill Loghain.

  5. Also for the save that you really want to carry across. Having Alistair hardened can be a very cool save carry over, as you get to meet him in Awakenings, DA2 as well as meeting Loghain in the expansion.

Wow... that game was bad enough making your own choices.

You honestly want to go through and force yourself to endure every option?

You realise this information doesn't carry over into "Dragon Age: Inquisition" right? You have to fill in an online questionnaire called "The Keep".

If you want to boost your gamerscore there are more economical titles for padding the numbers under your tag.

^Yeah, what is wrong with the OP? He wants to replay one of the best games of last generation to get an achievement. Who does that?

    Dragon age Origins

"Dragon's Age: Origins" was an interesting and arguably necessary experiment in Bioware's RPG evolution before EA got in and dragged them completely off track.

Daft morally ambiguous choices forced upon the player in an attempt to get away from "Black vs White" choices helped create a game that was ultimately grey... dull... uninspiring and almost as forgettable as the disposable lore they kept trying to heap upon
    you.

The bad guys... What were they... "The Blight"? Let's be honest. You could have picked anything or anyone. "the Cheerleaders" or even "The French" and replaced the scripted bad guys with them and it would have played the same.

For those few people who thought the game was great... lucky them.

The only direction they could take this is up.

(Or so you thought until you saw "Dragon Age 2").

Thankfully they've learned from their mistakes and have created a much better experience with "Inquisition".

  9. The story was certainly a generic 'hero saves the world' type but you rarely hear someone complain about that for Mass Effect.

Though if you think the Darkspawn could be so easily replaced then I doubt you paid much attention to what was said in the game about their origins (hehe). They and the threat they pose are very much tied into the history and lore of the Dragon Age world.

"Morally ambiguous" certainly isn't how I'd describe all of the choices, though that type certainly exist because after all you need to get allies and sometimes that means shades of grey. The conflict between the elves and the werewolves after all is black
and white, if you actually pay attention that is.

I know everyone has their own tastes but there is a reason that Origins is so well thought of even today and still has an really active community surrounding it.

Do the 4 of you still get together on weekends sometimes for a bit of LARPing?

I guess when you've got that... who needs Gold?

Are you ignorant? You can have your own personal taste all day. Stupid as it may be, you're entitled to it. However, Origins is widely regarded as one of the best RPG's of last gen by a massive amount of people. So you can go ahead and hate on the game for
whatever pathetic reason you want, but to deny the masses who disagree with you even exist, to act like their personal taste is incorrect, does nothing more than demonstrate your lack of intelligence.

  12. DA:O was anything but generic in my opinion. Bioware has mastered the art of the rpg. They had it nailed with KOTOR.

Dragon Age:Origins will not only go down as one of my favorite games last gen but also one of my favorite games of all time. I have played it just about every way there is to play it and always look forward to another playthrough with different character
    set ups.

Every time i play Dragon Age:Origins i feel the KotOR spirit in it and it's still probably the closest game i have found that feels like KotOR. Awesome characters, excellent expansions, amazing voice acting and immersing story will always make Dragon Age:Origins
    one of my favs.

No. Probably over-educated and it works against me since I have higher standards and greater expectations.

Does this make people who enjoy "Dragon Age: Origins" stupid or possibly not as smart as me? Not as far as I'm concerned but you're already calling me names and telling me I'm a dummy just because I don't think the same as you.

Look long and hard and you'll probably be able to find a crowd that liked it also. I can direct you to an even larger number of people who insist "Call Of Duty" is a better game than "Dragon Age: Origins" so just because you've got a crowd doesn't make
    your thoughts law.

"Dragon Age: Origins" remains one of the biggest dissappointments of last gen. If it wasn't the case for you then like I said above. Lucky you. The only direction the series can go is up.

  15. Biggest disappointment to who though?

I'm sure Call of Duty is a better title than Dragon Age Origins to someone who loves first person shooters.

You seem to be stating however as a certain fact that Origins was a disappointment to the majority of people when it clearly isn't the case.

Since you are so keen on evidence. I'm sure you'd have no problem showing how you arrived at this.

I mean fair enough you don't like the game but you do seem to be extending your dislike to a degree that doesn't exist for others.
