Dragon Age Origins will not start on my Xbox One

I own a digital 360 copy of the game. I’ve uninstalled and re-downloaded the game, restarted the system itself and went through all of the troubleshooting procedures, but no luck. Every time I attempt to start it, it freezes on the Xbox360 logo and freezes up my whole system for a few minutes; even to the point I’ve had to just restart the system. I figure the easy thing to do is quit trying to play it, but it is a personal favorite, so I’d enjoy being able to play it again in the future.

Dragon Age: Origins and it's DLC and expansion pack Dragon Age: Origins-Awakening
are already available for Xbox One. I don't think Dragon Age II is available on Xbox One.

Evolve and dragon age inquisition are xbox one

Dragon age: origins is 360, but the dlc worked just fine before

DA: Origins -- 86 on metacritic (www.metacritic.com/.../dragon-age-origins)

DA2 -- 79 on metacritic (www.metacritic.com/.../dragon-age-ii)

So, there was some obvious red flags there. Also, one of the reviews for DA2 only gave the game a 25/100.

The Xbox One has a very strong line-up coming out soon. I'm not sure if you've played Dragon Age Origins (I tried Dragon Age 2, but I lost interest in it quickly because it felt more like a " side story " rather than a sequel to Dragon Age Origins), but
it seems to me that Dragon Age 3 will be more like Dragon Age Origins rather than Dragon Age 2.

Hi Justin, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

"1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. "

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

"Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps."
