Dragon Age Inquisition

Just received Far cry 4 for christmas! so i'm jumping between Ferelden and Kyrat

Dragons ain't got nothing on them *** Honey Badgers!!

All i can say is wow. Some of the decisions you have to make in this game!!!

I am making decisions based on my characters heritage (im an elven mage) and it can certainly influence the path you take.

I only have 2 story missions left to do so may pick up Far Cry 4 soon. I am literally guna cry when this game is over. I will counting down until dlc.

DAI is easily game of the year for me, the type of game i could play forever.

 

Im still up for co-op. Its a shame there are only 3 maps but at least the animals mke it interesting.

Would be good to get 4 forumers on at the same time. coordinated effort and all that!

 

Yep count me in, I'm still wondering why there was a giant when there was only two of us and no sign when there was four!

No worries mate, sure we can sort in when your about, be good to knock off a Fortress or two in Kyrat as well!

 

I don't really get tghe combat in this game. The tactical camera system is horrible and some of the battles are so incongruously difficult you wonder what's going on. DA2 worked better than this for combat. Having to stop every two minutes to select the
herald and have him close the rift is royally annoying, as is the camera. Maybe they should have not bothered with a 360 version (going by the sloppy cut scenes and horrendous loading times I'm not sure they even did).

 

Don't worry Strange, some of the loading times on the One leave a lot to be desired at times too!!!

I only use the tactical camera in battles to equip potions, all the combat is done in the third person view and I leave my companions to their own devices.

I'm so close to doing everything I want to do in the game - I have 2 dragons to kill, a handful of shards to collect so I can open the final door and I've drank from the well. I had 9 agents and thought I'd missed my chance of 10th for the achievement but
them I ran an errand with Sera and employed the 10th agent but no achievement. Do I have to do something else via the war table?

Going to be sad to finish the game but it has dominated far too much of my time and other games need playing...best game on the One by a clear distance.

 

Some of the battles seem to be impossible for the level. There's one rift in the Hinterlands that spews out so many mobs after the initial one, a rage demon which isn't too much of a problem. My party dropped like flies almost immediately due to ranged fire
attacks. I can't make sense of that.

 

You do know a couple of the rifts in Hinterlands are level 12, don't you? I never knew that until I died a couple of times very early on then I realised you check an enemies level by clicking the right stick lol! Tbh, you really shouldn't struggle with any
groups of enemies unless you try and take on 3 giants at a time like I did. Dragons are the toughest fights you'll have but wait til you are level 21+ and top up your characters with the element resistant potions and you're half way there.
