I think there are way more worrying issues about Dragon Age than its framerate. Like whether or not its going to suck.

 

well if its sucks, at least it will equally suck on any platform...parity right over there

 

Loved the first one, hated the second and the third is looking worse. Shame on you Bioware you turned your back on your fans and went the button mashing/shooter route and we already have to many in genre.

 

I never tried to first 2 because I don't like Bioware especially after the 1st Mass Effect, but this game looks good and is a day 1 buy for me.

 

Anyone who wants to try out Dragon Age: Origins on PC can do so for FREE until October 14.

Select the standard edition. Oh and you'll need an Origin account but if you've ever played an EA game before like Mass Effect you probably already have one.

To be honest from my own point of view it's not a matter of hating on this thread but I'm struggling ( again from my own way of thinking ) why this is still being talked about, meaning that if FPS/Resolutions are so important to some, why do they even bother
with any console and not stick to a decent gaming PC which will out perform any console every day of the week.

As for the game itself, really cannot wait for it, looks and sounds stunning in my opinion!

 

^some ppl like myself don't like gaming on PC...The dev said that they maxed out the potential of each console, which means we have 50% power difference this huge

 

I appreciate that mate but people like me just care about the games, not what resolutions/FPS they a putting out.

And I know it's an ongoing thing and the last thing I want to do is start a "XB1 Vs PS4" thread but alot of people seem to forget, don't know or just choose to ignore that why some games display higher resolutions on PS4, some of these games have been reported
by quite a few sites to run smoother on XB1, Thief, Assassins Creed 4, COD ( untill it was patched ) to name a few.

To be honest though and maybe I have wonky eyes but I've played quite a few games on both systems and these so called differences whether it be better looking games on PS4, smoother running games on XB1 are not even worth talking about, I just can't notice
anything significant, I really can't but as usual, fanboys from both sides love to blow things WAY out of proportion.

It was like me and a friend were talking about last night whilst playing Horizon 2, Forza 5 60fps, Horizon 2 30 fps, is Horizon 2 any less fun? not in the slightest, in fact for me, even more fun.

As I said, for me it's about the gameplay and as long as it runs smoothly, meaning it doesn't slow to a pace where it becomes unplayable then I'm happy

 

If it wasn't for the internet or developers telling us the resolution or FPS I doubt many would even know or tell the difference.

As I keep saying, as long as the game is fun then I'm happy.

 

i dont know why you keap starting resolution threads nobody cares i have all systems and the difference is so small between the x1 an ps4 its not even worth mentioning if all your gonna do is complain about how weak the x1 is sell it an get a ps4 an i guarantee
within a weak you'll be regretting it

What MS needs to do is push for developers to use Azure. Id take 900p on dedicated servers every day of the week over developer servers. But developers wont do that as it isnt parity. I wish they would rethink it though
