Dragon Age Inquisition crash to dashboard

For some reason when i play the game i get randomly booted to the dashboard. then i have to sit through all the loading screens etc first time when it did i'm like what did it just do. This did once when trying to talk to an npc or interact with an object
that needed a different party member. so in total it did like 4 times. Will this be fixed with a patch later on if so i hope so. Because i was waiting for this game for a long time and i don't want crashing to ruin my hype for this game.

ive had the same problem sadly, i don't know if there will be a patch its happened to me 3 times

 

Same, even had to do a hard boot to get it working one time.

 

Had this happen a few times, not much though considering a full play through. Biggest problem is one I'm now facing is started 2nd play through to use new class and team members on nightmare mode but it now won't even load to first menu screen... in the
process of reinstalling.

 

Well I've re-downloaded and installed and still can't get to the initial menu screen, continue/load etc. I'm at a loss, can't have corrupted straight from a fresh install... never had a game not fail to get even to the first menu... Wouldn't have thought
it was a server problem since I'm sure it would just say can't connect...

 

update - Seems like I had forgotten about the hard reboot option (hold power button for 10 sec), so after doing that I'm now back in-game. Might not of even needed to have re-downloaded maybe...

 

The game is not letting me load my game save.

 

I just did a hard reboot and it did not help at all.

 

This has happened to me a couple of times since I started playing about three days ago.

 

Yeah the loading save crash has happened to me several times but isn't connected to the general crash. Clearing caches and reboots won't help, it appears to be just corrupt saves. It usually takes out my manual save and the latest autosave. Nothing seems
to solve the problem you just need to go back saves until one works. I just save more often and at least twice in a 15 min period before exiting the game.

 

Had a similar situation happen, I forgot what map I was on but was trying to climb a bunch of layered rocks to reach a skull to find shards, got almost to the top and fell and landed on one of the bottom rocks and the game kicked out to dashboard. For 1
1/2 - 2 days whenever I tried to continue game it would load with me standing on the same ground level rock and if I tried to step off the rock or fast travel away the game would keep kicking me to dashboard. Luckily I was able to manually load a previous
save that only set me back a couple of hours.

 

Thanks!, didn't think about the corrupt files. (Only because the last time I actually had one, it bluntly told me the file save was corrupt) , I'm going to take back a few Dave's and see if this helps. I've noticed it's usually when I'm traveling to the
Emporium, and between camps to Haven, when the issue rises at its peak..
