Dragon Age: Inquisition = Bye Bye Life

I vote for crazy.

If anything, the new Microsoft hierarchy wants feedback and are listening to its fan base.

Look at the new Xbox feedback section. The Windows 10 technical preview program.

It's all about what the user wants.

 

Have to agree it is similar to Skyrim, it's like DA Origins and Skyrim hopped into bed together and made a inquisition baby had a couple of issues with NPC's disappearing and falling through the ground and the game crashed and booted me to the dashboard.
Nothing major just booted it back up and was back to playing no problems.

 

Yeah some crazy ideas are actually delivered in this game! Tried it out on EA Access.

 

To all saying it's bigger than Skyrim, I agree. Maybe not the map size, but for example the battles.

In all RPGs I usually play either a warrior or rogue but it's actually fun playing a Mage in this game.

 

Agreed OP. I talk to everyone and read all the books and lore as I play, then just trying to wrap my head around the crafting and schematics system. Never played a DA title tho. Only other games that were deeper than this were Morrowind & oblivion...not
skyrim tho...Cheers.

 

Can't say I really like the spin-off media for Dragon Age. Not because it is bad but because they run with Bioware canon, leaving no wiggle room for the the players story in them.

The Mass Effect spin-off media varies in quality a hell of a lot more but it still leaves room for the players story in it.

 

Got the game at 7PM, stopped playing at 4 AM... have work in about 3 hours XD.

Game is addicting I tell you that.

 

I have only got an hour or two in but it is exactly what I wanted, I know I am going to enjoy this. I would say it is much more like DA:O than the 2nd and a more complex improvement on it. With a bit more open world elements. It appeals to me because it
is more strategy based than all action, I like time to think! I would still say you can play it on normal without at a faster pace.

I am playing it on hard too and I got owned in the Hinterlands by the first enemies I met, took about 3 attempts. But they are level 8 I think and my mob is only 3 with empty equip slots. The other enemies seem easier in the area so far. Unfortunately I
have been booted off the living room tv mine is connected to now, I was enjoying it that much I was tempted to buy the 360 version to play in here!

I am going to swap Dragon Age Inquisition for six 32 GB Flash Drive (it is on sale for $11.00 each) for my Xbox 360 (because I still use the 20 GB HDD that it launched with).

I am so happy right now because I will have 192 GBs of extra storage space for my Xbox 360

Here is the reason that I don't like it...

The 32 GB Flash Drives that I am going to get are normally $50.00 each, but they are on sale this week for $11.00 each.

So, when it comes to the question of which I would rather take...

..........

(1) Pay $300 for six 32 GB later and keep Dragon Age Inquisition

(2) Use the $66.00 store credit to get those six 32 GB Flash Drives by swapping Dragon Age Inquisition

..........

I choose option number 2 LOL

I've got about 20 hrs in the game now and Bioware tried to find the middle ground between DA:O and DA2 which probably wasn't a good idea. It's trying to be two things and fails at both. You either do a tactical RPG or an action RPG, mixing elements of both
makes for lacking gameplay.

They can't make everyone so they should probably choose a direction and stick with it. I think there is room on the console for old school Bioware gameplay to make a comeback rather than competing with all the other action RPG's but this just doesn't work.

They should stick with the Dragon Age: Origins formula because while I do agree that Dragon Age 2 is a great game; it was BORING to me.

Control wise there wasn't any difference between Origins and Dragon Age II, other than the need to hammer a button to do basic attacks on the consoles, until they patched auto-attack back in. You could step across
games and instantly be familiar.

Inquisition doesn't have that. Bioware have changed what didn't need to be changed.
