Dragon Age Inquisition any good?

One thing I loved about Skyrim and The Witcher 3 was that you can wander around and find random houses and caves or small buildings to loot. Does this have similar things?

I've watched my friend play Dragon Age Inquisition A LOT and from what I've seen, it is an amazing game (I haven't actually played it myself).

When I asked my friend how it compared with Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2 however, he responded that Dragon Age Origins is still the king of the mountain

If "Dragon Age: Origins" was 'top of the mountain' that mountain would be steaming and stinking.

How EA managed to turn "Knights Of the Old Republic" meets "Lord Of The Rings" - a formula for "Epic Win" into the forgettable snooze-fest that was "DAO" is confounding. It was a good idea to try and move away from "Black & White" choices but the stubbornly
awkward choices they gave you in their attempts to avoid Black and White ended up creating a game that was pathetic grey.

A necessary step in the evolution of the genre... but hardly their best work.

I loved this game also but like everything it gets forgotten and unfinished. I really must try and get back to it

 

This thread has really made me want to do another play through. Haven't played it in a long time. If it weren't for Halo 5 being so close... Maybe I'll wait for a sale on the DLCs and pick them up...
