That's a pretty good deal, I'm pretty sure the game is still getting some hype right? I might have to look into it. Thanks for the notice!

Dragon Age Inquisition was just amazing. Hence it winning Game of the Year. I have been stunned at how many times Dragon Age Inquisition has been on sale on Xbox Live and other well know local and online retailers.

Amazing game, for those who enjoy RPG's DA:I is amazing. Pick it up.

More expansions are on the way for DA:I

  6. I completely loved Inquisition. I don't think I have one complaint. I just got the first dlc add-on location last night.

Def the best of the entire series. I couldnt stand the last two, well they were ok I guess but on console they sucked hard. This one however was very good on both systems.

I played origins on the pc and LOVED it. DA2 was terrible and extremely forgettable.

  10. Well a person either loves Inquisition or hates it. Shrug! Some people hate Disneyland and ice cream. Some people don't like kittens. Some people don't like sunny days, rainbows or apple pie. They can just go cry in a corner for all I care.

  11. I'll throw my hat in to say I loved it, so much fun and I quite enjoyed the character creation as well as some of the armour. I'm about 1/4 of the way through on my nightmare run, really need to get back into it now that I have bought the DLC.

Are you gonna do the Jaws of Hakkon add-on while you're doing a Nightmare run Digi? Good luck with that! lol Boss fights are ridonculous, to say nothing of the regular enemies in the new area... they're damage sponges.

I liked DA:I, a lot. S'a great world beautifully realised, more lore added to the setting, fantastic atmosphere. But it says a lot to me that most of its strongest characters hail from Origins. It kinda felt like they
were ticking Origins story boxes to make it good.

Morrigan and Flemeth lifted the game to new heights.

I did find the dragon fights grindy though, after having played Dragon's Dogma, and it had its fair share of bugs. I will be playing it again. Gotta do a Nightmare run. I chose a human male warrior first run, boo, and had him romance Cassandra... some funny
    moments in that romance.

I'll do a female Elf rogue next I think.

  13. Dragon Age Inquisition $19.99!!!

Love Disneyland, surprisingly good since it was in France. Love icecream mashed together with apple pie. Kittens are great under some shortcrust pastry.

I confess to not liking sunny days but that is because I fry like a vampire at the mere suggestion of sunlight. Rainbows are mystical here in the UK as we all want the pot of gold at the end.

Personally I cry under my computer desk as that's usually where I find I'm worthless Dragon Age Inquisition .99!!! ;)

A short summery of what I don't like about the game:

The look: A broad area but I'm trying to be frugal. Areas from the first game look nothing at all similar. We start in Haven. That's Haven? A mission I enjoyed (I'm a time travel freak) took place in Redcliffe. Well at least they said it was Redcliffe. Did
they not even bother to look at the design notes from Origins when designing these areas.

Who are these characters with the familiar names but new looks. I want the number of Cullen's plastic surgeon because that Doc is amazing. He lost a few years in between Origins and DAII but here he's almost a completely different person.

Leliana? That's Leliana? I didn't recognise her at all until she spoke. I know people change as they age (well Cullen is the Dragon Age Benjamin Button) but this person had a completely different face shape and personality.

The controls (and stuff): Where is click to move? Are you seriously telling me that Bioware couldn't manage to automate a character to open a chest or loot a body? They managed it six years ago but it is suddenly an impossibility.

Full screen menus? Why on Earth do the menus need to be full screen? Origins didn't need to do this and still had a quicker and cleaner menu.

I can't assign my own stat points? In a Dragon Age game, I can't assign my own stat points? Seriously?

*Deep Breath* I could gone on for a long while but those are the ones that spring immediately to mind.

Bizarro is spot on about love or hate though. A friend played the game on the PS4 and loved it.

I thought the updated characters looked good. I recognised them immediately. Especially Morrigan. I was like, "Woo wooo!" And she was all, "Inquisitor." And I was like, "Mm hmm." If they looked liked they did in Origins they would stand out and look terrible.

A bit like the default Hawke stood out in DA:I. His freaky-looking [JRPG Final Fantasy, wow Bioware really went of the rails with DA:II] self got left in the Fade so quick I laughed when the characters around my Inquisitor were upset about it. It took me
0.1 seconds to choose him to stay behind.

Assigning stat points? How much does the game suffer with this not being a thing? I dunno man.

Things shifted pretty far from Origins with DA:II, and the success of the Mass Effect games. Origins is its own thing. It's an oddity in BioWare's most recent stable of games. It's closer to true PC RPGs than anything else in the ME and DA pools
of somewhat awesome, and it didn't quite fit on consoles. They made II fit on consoles, and it sucked on PC and consoles. They've found some semblance of... focus... with Inquisition. IMO =)

  15. Fair play to Bioware I did think it was impressive that they managed to import the look of your Hawke through the Keep.

You really recognised them? Leliana went from a round face to an oval one. The eyes, mouth, and nose are a different shape. Cullen is clearly not the same person, and if Morrigan wasn't wearing her 'classic' outfit would she be recognised.

Which brings me to another point. Varric obviously had a lot of time spent remaking the same model from Eclipse to the Frostbite engine. Cassandra is recognisable. Why did Bioware spend the time to make Dragon Age II characters looks the same in the new
game engine but if they started in Origins they paid almost no attention at all. Take a look at Alistair.
