If you go to the specific months rewards FAQ, you are able to see exactly which games that are available that specific month. That is also game(s) you
HAVE TO BUY within the same month. And which also counts that specific (eligible for reward) month(s).

This states that the action must be done during the offer period (January). Furthermore:

• Level 1: Think How He Thinks (UNLOCKS LEVEL 2) — Earn 3,000 Rewards Credits for spending at least $30 before tax on puzzling digital games like Inside and The Witness, or movies and TV shows like Inception, Being John Malkovich, and Orphan Black from the
  Microsoft Store.
• Level 2: Dress How He Dresses — Earn 1,000 Rewards Credits for spending at least $2 before tax on psychedelic avatar items from the Microsoft Store.
• Level 3: Do What He Does (UNLOCKED BY LEVEL 1) — Earn 4,000 Rewards Credits for completing five achievements in the game(s) you purchased as part of Level 1.

These outline the specific requirements, such as the fact that you can only earn achievements for eligible purchases from level 1. As to what makes up a eligible purchase, that information is also listed on the FAQ.

You only get credits for earning achievements in the game(s) you purchase to complete level 1 of the offer. You won't receive credits for achievements earned any in games purchased before the offer or games there were free since they are not eligible for

Apologies for the inconvenience. You should see your level 3 complete shortly, with the level 4 to follow once we catch up and process your level for Rewarding.

Some missions expire, if I am not mistaken. There aren't very many though.

Also, any missions you don't do will yield you a reward of the same level you got the quest. Say, you get a quest at level 8, and don't do it until level 35. The reward you will get will be a useless level 8 piece of equipment and the XP you get will be
abysmal because of your level. Personally, if I see a mission turn to trivial, I don't even bother with doing it.

By the way, make sure to do all of Dr. Zeds quests early on. They will unlock a special type of weapon that will only begin spawning after you've done his quest with Dr. Mercy.
