    firstly, this isn't an issue about money... It's about dishonesty and playing on people's ignorance.

    these help forums are rife with so called experts who try to convince the home users that whenever there is an issue with purchased downloads, it MUST be the end users fault. You see the same guff spouted in every thread... What region are you... Did you
    clear system cache... Did you unplug from the wall... Have you got enough space on your hard drive..get a 3 mile long Ethernet cable, wrap it around the neighbourhood, stick it where the sun don't shine and whistle Dixie.

    do you numbskulls genuinely believe that the majority of your customers are idiots?

    why not own up to the fact that, whilst it is dubious practice to run a charged service that offers NO REFUNDS , there are occasions when you put a product for sale on the xbox live marketplace that simp,y will not, does not, and can not work on some people's
    consoles? Just because it doesn't happen often, doesn't mean it doesn't happen at all.

    Im lucky, this has only happened to me three times in an extensive library of purchased games...but it DOES happen. It doesn't matter what region you are... It doesn't matter if it's Ethernet or wireless.... If multiple users are creating multiple threads,
    all reporting the same issue with the exact same game, then guess what ? It's YOUR Damned fault not ours.... So quit trying to condescend and patronise your customers into thinking it's their fault. Stop trying to get them to ferret around under tables tinkering
    with wires and settings. Own up to the fact there is a problem with some downloads that seriously need attention from someone who knows how to fix it.

    bought and purchased, been on the market a few years, still on sale, and still an army of us who, despite standing on our heads and twirling batons to the refrain of Stars and Stripes Forever..STILL CANT GET THE DAMNED THING TO DOWNLOAD,!

    I don't care that you've ripped me off three times and stolen my money... I allow foR that because of the Games with Gold.

    what I object to is you shower of supercilious , pontificating blowhards pretending you're all knowing, scratching your butts with a pencil and sneering at your customers like they're dullards!

    get off your butts and do some real work...and FIX THE BROKEN DOWNLOADS!

    Sorry to hear you're having issues downloading the game. Have you tried singing Stars and Stripes backwards?

    I'm just kidding there.

    However, in regards to the suggested fixes on the forums here. Those are standard support suggestions that work the majority of the time and are the first things that must be asked and verified.

    However, if they do not work then you should contact phone support for more assistance. Although the system does state that no refunds are given, if you can't get something working or even downloaded phone support can authorize a refund of the purchase
    for you.

    Also, please be aware that there are only a small handful of support agents on the forums here. The majority of the people who post (myself included) are gamers just like yourself who volunteer their time in order to help out where we can. Our problem
    solving resources are limited to basic knowledge which is why you keep hearing the same solutions listed over and over again.

    Most of the time like 90% of the time it is a user issue

    Usually because they don't follow the terms of use and make an out of region account which causes most of the problems

    What you can't do is lump troubleshooting as not effective

    Everyones situation is different how do you know its not because of their region

    If people actually read the troubleshooting stickies most problems can be solved without help

    I know a couple threads I answered it was solved by following the terms of use and matching his region which he confirmed worked

    The reason why not all troubleshooting work is because people don't state what their situation is and just lump.into the bandwagon saying it doesn't work without giving proper info we néed

    And they join another thread without giving all the info and try only 50% of the steps when most of their problems can be solves in seconds by checking their regions

    Troubleshooting is always custom to the said person because tom who posts later may not have a region issue but an ISP issue

    It is recommended everyone make their own thread and read the stickies on what info we need to help you

    90% of the time its because of the physical region

    People just ignore it because some other content works

    But not all content is region locked it depends that's why each step is different

    In the perfect world everyone's follow the rules and matches their region and use broadband connections

    Unfortunately thatsbnot hi ow the net works

    For the best experience with live your account region and actual region has to match

    A consistent broadband connection and troubleshooting steps taken would be listed too

    If there is an issue with the servers you would see it on the Xbox live status

    I can tell you people had no issues downloading cause I solved a region issue today and he is happy so I'm sorry but we do help people you just have to cooperate and help us help you

    Sorry forgot to add some people don't have issues because I downloaded stuff NAD others it really depends in their situation you can't lump everyone in as one connection one solution cause there isnt
