Practically spent about 4 days trying to play my Xbox One, I had the black screen of death, finally got past it with factory default then I had to install my Fifa 16 which was another epic and now it is syncing data for Fifa 16 which seems to be stuck on
81%. This Microsoft stuff is seriously [Mod Removed] me off, everything there is has a something of death or fails this. Tell ya what I will never be with microsoft again......oh and how often is Xbox Live

Disappointed

its not 100% but your not downloading games if your on disk... your installing and its in no way 2 hours... if your talking about a game with massive updates(neverwinter) maybe 2 hours to download and install every update since launch...

I have question regarding digital and physical copies of games.

Its going to install the game off the Disc, and download any updates fromt he servers.

Earlier games had a problem where the install time would take forever because it would download the Disc and the updates at the same time, but now they ask you if you want to download the updates while installing.

Sorry to hear about the issues! If you are continuing to experience issues with syncing data, I recommend first trying the following troubleshooting steps:

Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.

Once your console has powered off, unplug the power cord.

Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.

Power on your console and try loading FIFA to see if you are able to successfully sync the data.

Did you install from disk, or was this a digital download? Did you install an update at the same time as the initial game install? Did you install the episodes after the game?

I had troubles with this one originally. I installed from a disk, launched it, closed it out, then downloaded the updates, then downloaded the episodes. Installing from the disk and downloading the updates at the same time broke the install for me.

It installs the whole disc only if there are no updates.

If there are updates then it will pull the updated files off the internet as the game is installed.

Dead rising 3 for instance downloads 12GB while installing even though the game is only about 20GB on disc.

So the only time the whole disc is installed without downloading anything is if there are no updates available.

You can avoid this by disconnecting your console from the internet before installing a disc. This will let the whole disc install without downloading anything. Problem is that next time you connect it will insist on downloading the update anyway.

Normally this happens if it is trying to download and install an update for the game at the same time.

A normal workaround for this is to go into offline mode and install the game then go back online and it will then download and install any updates.
