downloads slow and dipping

Is this actually a serious response? Coronavirus shutdown has caused this performance issue? How does this explain the performance issue for Australia? I am a TPG NBN Customer in Australia. This problem has been reported by numerous users in the past few
days. Australia is not yet in lockdown of schools and work so how is this causing issues with Australian servers?

TPG are referring customers to Microsoft support as they can find no faults with their NBN service. And there are no problems with streaming services etc that would also be expected to be under strain with coronavirus shutdown.

Do you have evidence showibg unprecedented demand on server traffic in Australia?

Hi, this is a common issue lately. There are a lot of people at home playing since schools/work are closed due to the virus so that can create this issue. Hope it helps.

I fixed it for ya. I'd recommend slow, methodical dips. This suggest a more deliberate teabag than quick, spastic dips.

Yea my dips are always most noticeable with online stuff, or as you said 'heavier moments'. I play a lot of online tailing, every game when finished it stays in online mode - you'll see the blue loading circle to the left and slow-mo doesn't work - when
it finishes the frames immediately dip even further (kinda judders) and then speeds up back into single player frame rates. I use slow-mo to check for people tailing, you could try that when you experience issues to see if it's the case.
