    Downloads Queued


    A few days ago, I needed to update ESO and download Watch Dogs. I have the two items try to install over the course of a few days but when I checked my Xbox earlier today, both downloads are "queued" but nothing is happening. I canceled the Watch Dogs download
    and restarted it but nothing changed. Meanwhile ESO is still stuck at 32% completion and I don't want to have to delete it and reinstall it if it can be avoided. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Skype is stuck "queued" for download

    I am trying to download and install Skype and it's stuck as queued. It won't download at all. I tried unplugging the Xbox to clear it, but it's still just sitting at queued. Any thoughts?

    Is there a way to download games directly to an external hard drive on an Xbox 360.

    Hi,

    The exact method is a little hazy, but as I understand it, you'll need to start one download, then add another to the queue. The second item (the one queued) can have the download location changed from within the Xbox 360 mini guide.

    So, choose to download something and then add the actual content you want to download to the external drive to the Queue. Change the install location on queued item and then cancel the first first download. The content that was queued will now download to the external storage.

    You're suggestion didn't work. I only have Destiny downloading right now, but it keeps downloading, then saying it's queued (even though I have nothing else downloading) then downloading again, then queued, then at some points it just stops completely, making
    me have to start it back up or it won't download.

    Change download Location

    Unfortunately you can't change the download location of an item that is already downloading, that is a shortcoming of the Xbox 360's Operating System. However, there is a work-around. What you need to do is choose to download something else first, like
    a demo or a trial arcade game. Then add the actual game or DLC that you really want as a second download.

    The second download will be queued. Go to the queued download and via the options on screen, change the download location to your USB device. Now stop the first download. All being well, the item that was queued will now start downloading directly to the
    USB device.
