Downloads often fail

When I attempt to download games or DLC on my Xbox One, my installation stops and gives me error code 0x80070570. Which, when I Google it the result is unrelated to Xbox in general. I've tried to restart my console, removed my account and added it back,
so I don'tknow what to do. Any help is appreciated

Hey there wallsfalldown.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue with installing games/DLC. I can see you've already tried restarting your console and re-adding your account. The next thing I recommend trying is a

factory reset of your console. You can keep your games and apps so you won't have to reinstall everything after you do this.

Hopefully that makes it so you can download things but if not, post back and we'll see what we can figure out. Good luck!

Can you confirm that you are able to download your profile from Live to USB drive properly (with the hard drive removed).

My experience with error code 80151911, is that this code is often related to a failing hard drive.

Often in the older 360 consoles with the built in memory unit, this issue will occur.

When the memory unit fails, the Xbox sees that there's an update available since it can't see the update that was on the storage device. When the Xbox tries to download/install the update, the update can't install because of the failed storage device.

Does your Xbox 360 have the memory unit and/or the hard drive?

It happens often depending on your connection, but these days rockstar servers have failed a lot, hopefully this will solve soon

I've been having this same problem on a brand new Xbox One...it gets to 100%, then states "Installation Stopped," and then moves on to the next item in the queue, and then does it again. Was able to cancel a couple of the downloads and restart and it worked...but
it's happening way too often. It wouldn't be so frustrating, had I not been using up so much of my internet monthly download allotment for a failed install!!
