Downloads going at a crawl this month but were fine last month

As of July 1st my downloads from LIVE are going at a crawl. Please note I did NOT have this problem last month. Speeds were fine and downloads were fairly fast. This month I bought 2 of the games during the Ultimate Game Sale and each game on it's own took
nearly 4 hours to download when it should have taken about 30-60 minutes tops. I did a Network Test a couple times on the Xbox during those downloads when they'd go down to a crawl and the meter wouldn't move for long periods of time and the Download speed
would show as low as 800kbps. The speed on average should be closer to 10mbps though. I had the exact same problem again last night trying to download the last update for Minecraft. What should have taken 20 minutes (it took 20 minutes for the 1.8GB file last
time and this one was only 1.6GB) instead took 2 hours. If I stop the downloads or sign out of my LIVE account and enter again the speeds jump up to normal again before they slow way down again.

The Xbox 360 is hooked up through WiFi right now. I do NOT have a cable long enough to try a direct connection. The system is in the same room as the modem and router though and the signal strength is full. The computer is hooked up through the WIFI also
and does not have these problems with downloads from various servers, so this is a problem with the Xbox alone. When I try and download from the Xbox, nothing else is using the internet connection during that time so the full focus should be on the Xbox.

I am on a satellite connection with an average download speed of 12mbps and my WiFi router is a Linksys N300, Model # E1200

Again, I did not have these problems last month. I downloaded a bunch of demos and a couple of free games after getting our satellite connection and had no problems with download speeds with that. I did not have problems until July
1st and again, it's only with the Xbox, the computer connection is fine and I have no problems if we connect our Kindles or smartphone to WiFi either.

Cannot download my profile

Ahha. So, with the above in mind, I signed up for Gold again through the prompt I was getting when starting up Titanfall.

My profile now downloads fine on my 360, so it's something to do with the payment going wrong last month/this month.

 

This last month

Unfortunately there might not be a way for Xbox to verify if you cheated on the other games too. So therefore they cannot award you any of your Gamerscore back to you. Any missed amount of time on your Live could possibly given back but that is up the enforcement
team.
