    Downloads games to 100% then gives me this error code: 0x80070005


    The game specifically is Forza Horizon 5.

    I decided to reinstall windows but keep all my files, the store and xbox app doesn't recognise any previous game installs, trying to redownload but just getting this error at 100% Code: 0x80070005.

    I've tried to install it on separate drives but still the same result, is there a way to force scan for games ?

    Sorry to say but that's not possible. Xbox app doesn't have the ability to recognize existing files for the moment.
    Just to confirm, the previously installed apps doesn't appear in windows settings > apps and features > installed apps
    Right?

    If you don't mind, please try installing a game that you never installed previously to see if the issue persists

    Update: Gaming services is finally installed after hours. Still an error when trying to download a big game (Sea of Thieves is the one I am trying to download). But now it gives another error code: 0x80070005. This is very annoying, trying to get this
