    Downloads and console freezing


    Hi everyone,

    about 2 months ago I just can not finish a regular download, be it a game or an update. Every single download simply freeze after a certain time, also the console, so I have to turn it off and restart the process. Can anybody help me?

    Sorry for my poor English but there isn't support in my language Downloads and console freezing :(

    Is there a problem with Xbox X software

    I’ve started to get issues with downloads freezing, saves not syncing, games not loading and when power cycling the console startup errors.

    Im having the same issue, download it 3 times (about 7GB) including all updates(Mandatory), and the game never worked on my console.... i start the game and the black screen comes freezing the console.

    Is this the only time your console freezes, when trying to download content? Just to clarify, it never starts the download, correct? It freezes when you press the button?

    Yes, I spent the morning trying various things, including the above steps, and no go. The download gets to 4% and then freezes the console. If I remove it from the queue and delete the bad file from the HD then I can download other stuff and my console stops
    freezing.

    Hi Mr.Cerb!

    Following your suggestions, i've deleted my profile (no other profiles) from the HDD and downloaded on a 360 memory card bought with the arcade version of the console, turned off the console, turned on the console and...it freezes again.

    So i've disconnected the HDD, turned on the console only with the memory card, and the profile appear like a transparent shape.

    I've selected it, and it ask me to download a 190MB update.

    If i select 'no' i can't connect to Live, but the console doesn't freezes.

    Now i'm trying to download the update on the memory card, so we will see if the 360 will freeze again...

    And just to be clear, is the game freezing when you play it or when you try to download it?

    If it’s freezing while you’re playing it, I would probably try deleting and reinstalling the game to see if that works. If it’s freezing up during download, or still continues to freeze while you’re playing it, I will try to do a hard reset on the console,
    leave it unplugged after that for a few minutes, and then try it again
