Downloading to D drive xbox (beta)

It still may be a formatting issue. If the drive is formatted incorrectly certain apps will simply not work.

If you are having errors downloading into your D drive with available space. This may just be a formatting issue. You mentioned that this is a new gaming PC. It is possible that the d drive was never formatted properly. All you need to do is go into system
information. Click on your d drive. Go into properties then the memory tab and click format. This will format the disk and you should be install ready.

It does indeed show a list. But the app states that drive C is to small, and Drive D is unfit for download purposes. Im not sure why because this where all my steam games are too.

That's not really a great solution here. The OP has their Steam games on D drive. Formatting D will delete them all.

In any case, if they already have games and apps installed on D:\ then it is most definitely formatted correctly otherwise it wouldn't work at all.

Either there is something wrong with the last Windows update or something else - an antivirus app or security software - is blocking access.

What AV applications do you have installed? Did you build this PC or was it purchased pre-built?

No, this drive was brand new when building the pc.
