Downloading Title

I dont have unlimited internet so I took my xbox ro my aunt's to download a game

I logged into my account when I did this. When I got home, it is asking me to reinstall 40 GB again. Why? Also, how can I save my game progress to a hard drive instead of the cloud. I live in an area where I can't get internet so I use my veriZon hotspot
which is only 10gb a month.

That is because he is too young. The games are rated M for Mature and he must be of age in order to download them.

Recently bought halo wars 2 on my pc with windows 10 to use the play anywhere function but now I cant download it on my personal xbox or the friend I game share with. Really confused why buying it on the Microsoft store and not the xbox store would mess
it up. Anyone have an inkling to know why?

maybe you did not finish downloading the game and so asks you to download them again,

on the saved games you go to the game in particular and when they are on top of the pulse start and you select to manage game and on that screen you will see a section that puts saved data of pasrtida, with them is the progress of your game

Probably after the installation the game required an update. You can still play

offline to use the saves on your HDD.

 

Did the game finishing install successfully? Did you launch the game to make sure it would run and in case it prompts for any updates? Games successfully save to the hard drive first and then sync with the cloud when online. However, there are a few exceptions
to this so best to check with the game manufacturer itself. It was an early issue with Mafia 3 that games would not save offline. However, I can confirm what you are trying to do works. My brother does this all the time by bringing his Xbox over to mine to
update and install new games before taking it home where it is offline.
