I'm sorry to hear your saved data was deleted.

You could try deleting your local data for Rayman Legends, which would force your console to download the latest save on the cloud.

To do so:

- Turn your console on.

- Go to My games & apps > Rayman Legends > Manage game and add-ons > Saved data > Select your profile > Delete from the console.

- Launch Rayman Legends.

* Please keep in mind this will only work if your cloud save for Rayman Legends hasn't been overwritten by the new game your child started.

This is automatic when you open the game. You truly cannot manage the saves manually. If the save was lost, and the system did not automatically put it back when you turned it back on, it most likely the save on the cloud was not the one you were looking for.

On this link, you can check how to force the cloud save on your game, but it is not recommended if you do not know if your saves were automatically being uploaded:

That depends on whether the console has already synchronized the deleted game to the cloud.

If the console hasn't deleted the game save from the cloud yet, the game sync with the save file in the cloud automatically. When you start the game, it'll download the save from the cloud.

If the game save however is gone in the cloud as well, then there is currently no way to get it back again.

If you went to Menu > Manage Games > Saves > Delete Save Data > “Delete Everywhere“, it's deleted from the cloud and can't be recovered.

It just deletes from the console and if the game was automatically saved on the cloud, you can download it back from the cloud or it just syncs itself from the cloud.
