Downloading Purchased Movies to the XBOX One S

Can this be done like it can on the Xbox 360?

I have not purchased an Xbox One specifically for this reason and was wondering if the updated XBox One S will have this capability? My internet service in a remote community of Canada's arctic does not allow me to stream HD very well so in order for me
to enjoy an HD movie, we have to downld to the HD.

Xbox one video purchase not on xbox360 myvideos

I purchased movies through xbox one video have a good collection now. I hooked up my old 360 to watch the movies we watched one movie and now my collection on the 360 is only a couple movies. They are the movies i previously
purchased on the 360. I've tried troubleshooting re downloading everything the collection doesn't even come up on the 360 anymore.

UHD Blu ray

recently purchased my first UHD blu ray movie for my Xbox one s. Gone to play and it doesn't recognise the disc, normal blu ray is fine just the UHD. After reading a few forums it appears there were some early problems. Can anyone help? The movie is magnificent
seven. This was one of the big reasons for me buying the Xbox one s.

The Xbox One S would use the same operating system as the current Xbox One, which currently only allows streaming.

However, you can make the suggestion on the Feedback site:
http://feedback.xbox.com/

If the idea already exists there (it likely does), you can upvote it to show your support.

I'm afraid that answer didn't tell me anything, I meant creating a playlist for streaming movies (not downloaded movies) on the Xbox Series S, and if there's a way to autoplay the next purchased episode of a TV show without downloading each and every purchased episode.

I got the same issue and error, I donn't know why xbox doesn't alow people to download our purchased movies!!! I cant even watch them cause of the s**t stream service that they have, I am so angry I want a refund, i wil never ever purchase another movie
until they alow to download the movies.

FWIW - This also seems to apply to movies previously purchased from the 360. In so far as - if you purchased a movie from Xbox Video at any point, you cannot download it on Xbox One - only stream.

So when they pull the movie from the marketplace, you lose the movies you purchased..

Hello,

Please take a look at the content that you purchased to make sure that it doesn't state that it can't be downloaded and only streamed. That's usually the only reason why you wouldn't be able to download content onto the hard drive. Otherwise upon purchase of
the movies you would have been prompted to download the movie(s).
