downloading profiles

Hello. I'm Having a problem at the time of downloading profiles on my Xbox 360. What should I do? I'm having this problem since Saturday. Thank you.

Deleting downloaded profile?

I decided to dust off my 360 and I downloaded my profile awhile ago. But if I delete it and not my actual profile. All of my saves and data will still be there, right? Because from what I read. The only point of downloading your profile, is if you want to log in to a different console.

Saves should be fine, proflie can be deleted and redownloaded.

Can you please be more specific as to what is happening when you attempt to download. Are you getting any error codes?

Yes! Every time I try to download my profile, I get the code 8015000A, saying that the time is not available to download profiles. However, I'm having this problem since the day I bought my Xbox! ._.

Ok, thanks for the info. The error code you listed suggests an issue with licensing or corruption of the data.

Can you try clearing the cache 3 times then restart the console and see if that helps?

If that doesn't work then you may need to contact phone support for your region for more assistance.

Hey all, im getting really paranoid over the fact that i may have just completely deleted my account, basically, i wanted to try and fix the fact that it kept signing me out whenever i started a game or exited back to the dashboard, so i looked on here and
found out how to do it, right? well i followed it step by step:

1. Clear cache

2. Delete profile

3. Turn off

4. Turn on.

5. Clear cache again

6. Re-download profile

7. Start up game.

Well once i got to step six ' Re-download profile' i enter my correct account settings and it downloaded a profile which ive never heard before, but it had no gamer score, no friends no nothing, so i tried it again and the same account came up? i don't know
what im doing wrong but its starting to get me really paranoid over the fact that i have just lost my profile, the thing which really got to me is the fact that if i use the same account details on my xbox one, it comes up with my profile, can someone please
help me out ASAP. P/S If i post this on to the forums now, with this weird gamertag, my proper gamertag which should currently be signed in is 'Haunted Elmo'

Oh got myself in deeper crap xD now I can't re-download the update. I start up the xbox it starts the download update and around halfway gives me a 25 character error code and stops it...

Well, I ended up transferring my profile with a physical flash drive, since I was only needing to transfer my gamertag between two machines in this same house. Not sure if the original problem (not being able to download the profiles over xbox live) is fixed
or not, but I'm able to play on the other console now.
