Downloading older versions of games? Like Madden

Okay i heard that Xbox one allows you to digitally purchase and download games from xbox original to xbox one games. Is this true? If so, would i be able to download xbox 360 versions of games like madden to be able to play with friends? Someone please let
me know.

I want to download some of the franchise accelerators for Madden 10, and it says it costs -1 MS point, then I try to download it and it says I need to purchase 4294967295 MS points in order to download. That seems like an exorbitant fee for a download for
a 2-years-old game. What's the deal?

I've been out of Madden for 2 years. I hope this version is more like the old Madden I used to love.

You can go download Madden 25 if you want that as an "old game". Just play both consoles, really not a big deal and I hope more ppl will see the value in just keping them separate.

 

They are looking into a sort of virtual console type system but I wouldn't hold my breath for anything until early 2016 probably.
