    Downloading mods from Nexus?


    First let me say that this just started happening yesterday, the 1st. Before this there was no problem and I took no action that I know of to cause this.

    My OS is Windows 10 Home, 22H2.

    When I try to download a mod from Nexus with the "download with manager" button I get this message: "This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, iFone is already installed, create an association in the default Apps Setting page." I can get around this by downloading the mod using "Manual" download but this is definitely a nuisance.

    I am not certain what that "iFone" thing is, I might have copied that wrong. I don't even own a smart phone.

    When I enable System from the start menu I do not have an Apps Setting page.

    Whoever said that the definition of insanity is taking the same action over and over again and expecting a different result obviously never owned a computer, this is something that Windows10 just decided to do on it's own.

    I didn't find the ifone program you described. Maybe you misspelled it. However, if you want to download the nexus mod through an application, you can install this application to download and manage mods.

    There is actually a very simple way of adding mods to the game. By going into C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Local\Packages\39EA002F.FINALFANTASYXVforPC_n746a19ndrrjg\LocalState you will be able to find a folder called "mod" in which you can install mods you
    may have downloaded from a website like nexus mods.

    Hi,

    Sorry but Nexus Mods is PC only. There is no way to install any of the mods on that website on an Xbox One. Fallout 4 and Skyrim have their own mod options from Bethesda and these are the only options you have.

    Besides, many of the higher end mods on Nexus (especially the graphics ones) wouldn't work on consoles anyway. And the many nudity mods would be a definite no.
