Downloading Mass Effect 3 Citadel DLC, part 1 downloads as part 2!

You should be able to access it on your account so long as you are playing on the same console that it was originally downloaded to. Did you download both parts of the DLC?

Also, sorry but there is no way to transfer items from one account to another. This includes save games.

Pretty surprised at the size of Citadel as well. But if they said they were going "all hands on deck" for this one and if we're to believe that quantity = quality unlike the last statement made about Omega that was the "biggest and most expansive DLC to
date", then I guess you could say they are going out in a big fashion and hopefully in a truly redeeming one as well. One that would end the original trilogy on a much higher note than in all honesty it is at this point which would be a great thing going
forward, at least in my opinion.

As for anyone who is wondering how the 4gb download will go for Citadel if you haven't seen the blog post yet:

"For Xbox 360 users, the Citadel DLC pack will come as 2 downloads on Xbox Live. ME3 Citadel is larger than our previous DLC packs, so it had to be split into 2 downloads. The first pack is priced at $14.99 and the second pack is tagged as free. Players
need to purchase and download pack 1, then download pack 2 at no additional cost.

You can download pack 2 without purchasing pack one, but the DLC will not work. You will get an error message in game asking you to download pack 1. It will say "This DLC will only work in conjunction with Part 1 of Mass Effect™ 3: Citadel, which is
split across 2 downloadable packages. Please purchase Part 1 prior to downloading Part 2 at no additional cost." This will not hurt your saved game but you will not be able to launch Citadel until you have both packs."

Wish I could agree with you, Cryptic and I know I'm probably sounding like a broken record many times over. Nonetheless, the horrid monumental change in story direction at the end of Mass Effect 3 is still the grand finale of the Mass Effect trilogy. No
dog and pony show in the middle can redeem the end result. Like you, that's my opinion.



I will, however, be interested in hearing yours and others thoughts on the DLC when it comes out.

I had a similar issue. I downloaded both parts, and when I went to play, it said I was missing part two, yet only 2 of 2 showed up in my Mass Effect folder. So I tried to re-download part 1, but it wouldn't work. I deleted all of the Citadel DLC from my
hard drive and have downloaded them again, yet still I get the same message, what am I doing wrong? I've never had a problem with any other DLC before, thankfully.

I had the issue where Pt. 2 was corrupt, but would not re-download (jumping from 1% to 99%). I tried capricaswiss' solution of moving the intact file to a flash drive, and that allowed me to re-download part 2. Then I went ahead and re-downloaded part 1
for good measure.

I think the problem is that the marketplace shows Citadel DLC Part 1 and Part 2, but the actual file names appear to both be "Citadel DLC Part 1". So, if either one becomes corrupted, your system thinks you are downloading Part 1, and you already have it.
