Downloading large games - live keeps disconnecting

If its a Xbox One you can download while its off if you have the proper "Power and Startup setting" it has to be set to "Instant On" to do so... 360 almost the same thing but its called "background downloads"... make sure your internet is running good...
check your systems and connections. if its good you should be able to get the DLC. if not its got to be thru your service of WIFI or LAN

Guys if you keep get auto disconnected please try this!

Download Xbox LIVE profile.

Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).

Select Download Profile.

Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

Enter your Microsoft account password.

Downloaded today whole game in 2hours 30 odd minutes. Doesn't seem to be bad internet. Keep disconnecting from live session after 1 minute of entering into live. Same problem here.

Its the large updates it downloads during the install. Put the xbox into offline mode or disconnect the connection to the internet and then install from disc. After the install, you can connect to the internet and it will download the updates.

It's probably because of the title update(game patch).

Whe you install games from disc the patch(if there is one) will download while installing.

The patch for Forza is apparently quite large. I've heard it's a few gigabytes. So depending on the speed of your connection it can take ages.

You could disconnect the console from live to install the game quicker but you would still need to download the patch again before playing next time you are connected
