Downloading issues

I purchased jedi knight jedi academy and when I go to download it they system goes through the whole download then as it finishes the system says the game cant be downloaded. As for troubleshooting i've done the whole list of instructions they give on
the web site and even got in contact with a rep to help walk me through a different process. With the rep they had me utilize a second Hard drive so i formatted it and connected it but when i go to download the game again it gives me the same alert that it
cant be downloaded. Is there any way to get this game to work or did i just waste the money?

But the content wasn't recently downloaded it was downloaded a while back and i can't get to it from my download history. It was fine working on the xbox that got the red ring I should be able to get to it on the xbox i just bought also. It's as if i never
downloaded the stuff. Either way if i want my stuff that i already bought before i'm being made to buy it again just because i got a different console.

Try forcing your xbox to update itself first. Also make sure you have enough disk space avaiable.

you can do a soft reset try to power cycle your console. Please hold down the power button on the front of the console for approximately 15 seconds until the power light shuts off. Wait about 60 seconds, then power it back on. Be sure you see the green "XBOX
ONE" animation loading screen when you power it back up.

then try to download the game if that not help you can call and ask for a refund

Hey thanks for the reply. I bought it on the 360 and have tried that it just keeps giving me the same notification and just leaving a corrupted save file on the hard drive. And I didn't know they refunded digital games.

As of right now, since I can't edit the post, it seems to be downloading once again. My net was up and functional that entire time. I have no idea what happened.

Yes it is, my account says UK, Id never have a reason to change that. My card info also has UK section too. Think about it, it went through by doing the payment on my phone but not anywhere else? Something is clearly up

Not one of those suggestions worked and I cant delete my card from xbox because its connected to my automatically updated 3 month xbox live renewal... The big joke is I stopped the automatic update but still cant remove the payment option, which means I
cant actually make any change to find out what the issue is.

Think I'll block all microsoft payments through my account if this cant be solved cos I've spent hours trying to simply disconnect my card from xbox but been blocked from doing so at every attempt.

Why is it so hard just to remove my own information?

Update:

The download seems to have removed itself from my Active Download list. I now have a Unidentified Download error in my systems storage.

Try clearing your system cache and re-downloading them.

Go to 'System' via the dashboard > System Settings > Storage > Press Y > Select 'Yes'.

I had similar problems with downloadable content, and this method resolved it.
