Downloading games from store to Flash disk

Hi,

This is the first time I'm attempting to purchase from Xbox store. I am about to purchase Fifa 15 (7GB) and download it to my 32 GB flash disk.

Since I only have a 4 GB console, I was wondering if this download is possible/allowed and if I will be able to play the game from my flash disk.

Could you please guide me through this? Also, I need some help in understanding the following.

1. Will it be possible to purchase the game through my laptop but have it download it to my Xbox 360 console?

2. If that is possible, how do I initiate and check the progress of the download?

3. What should my next steps to install the game and play it at a later time?

Problems with games stored on the flash drive

Hello hello friends

I already downloaded this game that I have been mended a lot since they gave me the console, I have a problem downloading the game from the store to a flash drive, but at the time of login tells me that there is an error reading the disk, it is Strange because the game is in flash memory, someone help me please because I want to play !!

Hard Drive Upgrade. Xbox 360 Slim to Classic.

Don't delete your game saves! If you have a USB Flash Drive you can use that to store them on. The console can accept flash drives up to 16Gb. San disk works well.

You should be able to download and play the game from the USB stick although an official hard drive for the console is recommended.

You can purchase the game on your laptop and it will be sent to your console. When you get to your console press the Guide button, scroll left and select Active Downloads to see the download begin.

Are you playing disk games or have they been downloaded on from the store

I’ve had this problem before. The reason it kept stopping for me was because the game was trying do download an update and even thought the game wasnt installed yet. If you have a disk put the disk in then wait for it to start downloading. Then uninstall
the game. The go to the store and start the download from the store.

Disk version:

Uninstalled everything cold war

Put in disk

Went to Microsoft store

Picked series x version

Picked install

Started game, was in trial mode

Quit out

Installed 4 content packs FROM STORE

Started game, HD assets, ray tracing installed.

EDIT: Base game download might have come from disk, not store. But it was 180gb and content packs did come from store.
