Downloading games error

In the last few months I haven't been able to download anything to my xbox 360, I haven't changed my broadband providers so that can be ruled out. I have cleared my system cashe, deleted marketplace cashe and deleted the game and tried to re-download
again, nothing has worked. All it is saying is can't download item, and after months of missing out on great games I'm sick of it, so if you can help me it will be much appreciated.

So i just download this game and for some reason i cant play it bc it said the disc need clean it pretty much has the same error when you got a disc inside but it no disc it downloaded. Why is it saying that error tht i got a disc insside what could i do for it can work.

Sorry to hear it. Did you try restarting the download from your download history (Settings>Accounts>Download History)?

Also, which country do you live in and which country is your gamertag set for?

 

Does your physical location match your console region?

 

If you are able to delete the game from your drive it means you initiated the download, and therefore will have those free games in your download history.

That means you will be able to download them again for free, once you get you problem sorted.

Are you getting an error code of any kind on screen?

 

No, all I'm just is 'item connot download'. It happends when I try to download anything

 

There is currently a service alert on the xbox status screen that may not be helping the situation.

Apart from that, you may need to call support to have them look at your account.

Without any error codes or obvious reason for the issue, they may be the only ones who can help you.

 

There has been some errors with the marketplace. It is in the status

 

But this has being going on for at least four months so I'm sure the marketplace errors in the status would have been fixed by now

 

Have you deleted and re-downloaded your profile at all?

If that has no effect i would call support, they can sometimes just "refresh" your account and clear any problems.

The live status has now been fixed so that isn`t part of your issue.

 

This issue has been going on for a while and one that I've been experiencing as well. However, I found a bit of a workaround.

Start your download. When it fails do not delete the download but restart it again. It should continue on from the point it left off. A bit annoying to have to do this but at least you get the content you wanted.

 

I'll try to delete my profile and re-download again, if it fails I'll let you know

 

Be sure to only delete your profile and not your game saves.

 

I deleted my profile and re-downloaded it agin and still the same problem, would there be a problem with my hardware?

 

It is possible, but before buying any new items call support and have them look at your account.

It may be something extremely simple that they can fix in minutes.
