Downloading games/apps stops

Hello all!

I've been struggling with something really interesting, don't know if anyone else ran into this but I got an Xbox One X and I downloaded Star Wars Jedi fallen order without an issue but other apps or games won't download. For instance, I bought Fifa 20 and
it starts downloading but it always stops at 42.4%. Apps won't even start downloading and other games have the same faith, they will start downloading but at some point they will stop and never resume.

I've tried it all: factory reset (even without keeping my games), clearing the local storage, Xbox is brand new so there's plenty of storage, resetting the MAC, cancelling download and starting it again, turning off router and giving it time and trying again.

The most interesting thing is that after a factory reset I was able to install Star Wars without an issue but Fifa or any other game was not able to download. Hope anyone here has an answer before I ask for a reimbursement here =).

At the moment - due to high demand - certain upload servers might not be able to handle all requests in a timely manner and downloads may timeout - thus indicating the installation stopped. My advice at the moment - only add one game to be downloaded at
a time - this way your download queue is easy to manage and resume/restart if needed. Try downloading at off-peak hours like late at night and change your power options so the XBOX doesn't shut down after too short of an idle period for your download speed.
Large games can take hours to download on slower connections.

Ive discovered that i can download apps and not games i dont know why but games wont download and just say installation stop but apps download

For the downloads, how far do they get before they stop downloading? Is it closer to zero, or do they just stop at a random point in time? Also, you could try following this

Hi There,

It seems like the issue is with the download stopping at 80% so maybe try some of these troubleshooting solutions that deal with slow downloads or downloads that aren't completing.

If you are using online features such as multiplayer games or streaming apps when downloading games the download may stop for a period of time and can even take longer to complete.
