Downloading game from disc freezes

So I got black ops 3 today and I went to download it. The downloading starts but freezes, I've tried to clear locally saved data, restarting internet and system. But nothing seems to be working. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Downloading Games from disc

It's an anti piracy measure. If it was setup so you didn't need the disc there's very little stopping people from buying games, installing them to the HDD and then returning them to the shop.

Downloading Games from disc

When you install your game from the disc to the hard drive, your console will:

1. Run quieter, a problem for older consoles.

2. Games will load faster and eliminate 'texture pop in' which some games display when running from disc.

3. Your DVD drive will last a lot, lot longer. When you install a game it will run from the hard drive saving wear and tear on the DVD laser and motor.

As the above poster has already said, you still need the disc as it stops piracy. If you were able to play without the disc people would just hire games or borrow them off their friends, got good for the industry.

Try installing it offline (click go offline in network settings).

After the install reaches 100%, go online again.

Hey there. Just to clarify, you are are only experiencing this freezing issue with these two games, correct? Are these games being played from the disc, installed to the HDD from a disc, or downloaded from the Marketplace? Try to delete the games, clear
the cache, restart the console, and then re-download or re-install them.

I'm having a similar issue. I've got COD ghosts as a download and it always freezes when I get to the multiplayer screen or while loading a multiplayer match. I uninstalled the game, purchased the disc from amazon for $40, disconnected the console from
the web, installed the game from disc, connected to the web and it plays without any issues.... Except, now the Xbox is automatically downloading the digital download in the background, installing it, and I'm back to having the issues with it freezing until
I uninstall and reinstall from disc again. The download is broken but it keeps installing itself onto my console and I can't figure out how to stop it.

Hey its the xbox360 arcade. I have cleaned it from dust in the fans,motherboard,cpu etc. I tried offline = freezing, hardrive games = freezing, disc games = freezing, disc films = freezing
